weddings versus florists
Anyway, I’ve been a floral designer for about 7 years, and after working at a few different shops in different towns, I have concluded that I CAN’T STAND dealing with selling people weddings. I don’t mind DOING the wedding work, making the pieces, but I can’t STOMACH talking to ditzy, cheapskate brides and their overbearing, annoying families/friends who come with them to the wedding consultations. I’m sick to death of the negotiations involved with trying to get the stupid bridal parties to part with their money, the cheapskates ! They all seem to think that the flowers should be done for free ! My questions for y’all out there are these: Do any other designers and/or owners feel this way?
